Whirlwind Weekend

This past weekend started off great going out to dinner with Nonni and Poppa at Johnny Corino's. This was a nice treat because Reece was actually very good for us. Up until the past few weeks Reece would just sleep every time we would go out to eat... but that has ended. She has now decided that she wants to be the center of attention any time we go out to dinner. Well, this time she slept a little, but also just ate her carrots like a big girl!




Then on Saturday Ryan and I took both of the dogs to the groomers to get them washed and trimmed. We got a call about 5 minutes after we left letting us know that they thought Beaux was going to have a heart attack if we left him there. Needless to say he was a little scared! We went and picked him up, and I am going to have to groom him myself.




On Sunday after church we stopped by GiGi and Uncle Chrispy's house to hang out and ride in the Barbi Car! Thankfully no one got a picture of me squeezing myself into the car with Ella... But I was able to sneak a picture of Ashley cruising down the street!




Lastly the last event of the weekend was a graduation party for a friend of ours named Adam. Adam used to be one of the youth in Ryan's youth group a few years ago, and his dad was a pastor at that church. It was so much fun the Celebrate Adam, and Reece loved playing with her buddy James. James is the son of some friends that have known Ryan for a very long time!


Finally after all that activity Reece and Ryan were pooped! I guess it is time to go back to work to get a little rest...

All in a Days Work

Today I (Reecie) am taking over the blog. I figure that if Ella gets to write the Petersen Blog... Then I should get to write the Cain Blog every now and then!

So let's get this party started~~~
Today I got to go to work with my mommy! It was so much fun! I got to play with Solisa and Breanna. Solisa even got on the floor and played with my toys. I loved seeing mommy's office and I was a hit with all the residents!

Big Girl Bath

Tonight was Reecie's first time to take a big girl bath in her Pink Ducky! She loved it. She especially loved to play with her little pink ducky that her Nonni gave her for Christmas while sitting in her Big pink Ducky that she borrowed from her Gigi. The best part about the bath tub was that when you squeeze the beak she would Quack at you. Reece just thought that was the funniest thing. Thank you Gigi, Ella and Scarlett for letting us use it! We are having a great time playing!!!

6 Months Old

I know that this post is a few days later than normal, but things have been a little crazy around the Cain House hold. This last week Reece and mommy were both sick with what we though was pink eye again, but it turned out to be some sort of virus going around that makes yellow stuff come out of your nose and your eyes... Needless to say we are all very glad to finally be getting over this. The housework was really starting to pile up! Thankfully Ryan was kind enough to take care of us on Sunday once he finally finished his busy week of working at his new job, working at the old job and full time school with three tests last week.

This week is starting off much slower, and we are all very grateful!

Sick baby & New job

This weekend was a little rough because our little Reecie has a bad case of Pink eye along with a cold. She had green stuff coming out of her nose and eye. It was the saddest little thing. Since of course Reece always decides to get sick on the weekend... We went to the E.R. We actually had the same doctor from the first time we took Reece to the E.R. She still was amazed at how cheerful our little princess was while having all that goo coming out of her!

Also, today Ryan started a new job! He is staring to work at an insurance company. Ryan will be going to school full time, one almost full time job, another part time job on Saturdays and then full time daddy and husband. Needless to say--- he is going to be busy! We are so proud of him! Below are picture of the little sickling and of daddy on his first day of the new job!

Big Girl

Look at me! I am such a big girl sitting up all by myself!



I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while now, but life has been very crazy... I can't believe how quickly Reece is growing up.

Family Fun

It has been so long since we have had the chance to hang out with my family that lives here in Houston. This past weekend we were finally able to have everyone over to the house to hang out and watch the babies! It was Katie, Greg, Chris, Ashley, Ella and little Scarlett. Reece is growing so quickly, but my niece little Scarlett Grace is catching up pretty quickly too! Below are pictures of Scarlett & Chia and then Reece with Katie and Greg!
