Mommy's work Parties

One of the perks of being the manager of an apartment complex is that sometimes we have really fun resident parties. This summer we have had two parties that Reece really enjoyed!

 

 

The first party was a Carnival. We had a train come and all of the kids were able to ride all around the complex parking lot.

 

We also has a hotdog machine, cotton candy machine, pop corn popper & snow cone machine. Reece really loved her first taste of cotton candy!

 

The other party was Fire Safety Day. The Houston Fire Department came, and let the kids climb all over their Fire Truck.

 

 

Reece really liked getting inside the truck and looking at all of the tools.

 

I think her favorite part was kicking her feet up after each party and eating some chocolate from mommy's desk!

Avery 2 Months old

I have meant to finish this posting a few days ago. Avery is growing so fast! We took him to the doctor for his checkup. He is around the ninetieth percentile for hight and high sixtieth for weight. I think he will be higher if he keeps growing at this rate. 

No matter what we are so excited to have this little man in our family!!! 

Avery 3 Months Old

 

 

Our chunky Monkey is now 3 Months old! It is very hard to believe. Avery is growing at a very rapid pace. He is so strong that he is already able to control his core body and sit up when he is propped up. The ladies that take care of him at daycare tell us all the time how incredibly sweet and easy he is. Avery is great for mommy and daddy too! He had been sleeping anywhere from 9 to 11 hours at night since he was 2 months old. God has truly sent us a "Little Blessing!!!"

 

 Life has been going 90 miles an hour ever since I have gone back to work. We have settled into a routine, and we are getting used to be a family of four with two working parents.

Back to Work

This week I had to go back to work, and Avery started going to daycare. He was super duper cute all dressed up in his sport coat for his first day of "school!"

It was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. I was so sad not to be spending all day with my little man. I have made sure that I really savor every single moment with both Avery and Reece! I am so blessed to have the sweetest cutest kids ever! 

Happy 4th of July

This past weekend Ryan and I packed the whole family up and went to the Altman Lake House to celebrate Independance Day. 

BB and Papa A were super sweet and got all of the grand kids matching outfits. Unfortunately Abby wasn't there, but she was very missed!

One of Reece and Ryan's favorite things to do at the lake house is ride the four wheeler.

Mimi came to town

This past week was mommy and Mimi's birthdays, and as a surprise Mimi came to visit. It was such a nice surprise! We got to relax together and just spend some time with Mimi, Gigi, Chris, Ella and Scarlett. We didn't do a lot, but because we were together it was fun!
