Lake Time

Once again it was time to head to the Lake House. We were able to play on the newest toys this weekend. My parents recently got 2 brand new jet skis! To say that the kids love them would be a major understatement.

Along with fun on the lake, we also had a lot of fun having a little Adult "Wine-down Time" after the kids went to sleep.

Papa Came to town

This weekend my dad A.K.A. Papa A came to Houston for the first time in a long time. We had so much fun going out to dinner, and hanging out in the pool at the hotel. He unfortunately had to cut his trip a few days short, but we were just so excited for the time we were able to spend together! After Papa A went home we went over to see my cousins Katie and Greg. The kids had a blast watching The Sandlot outside in their backyard. With all of that excitement the kids were worn out. Until next time...

Toddler Bed

Somebody is officially a big boy!!! Avery was starting to climb out of his crib, so we felt like it was time to switch him to a toddler bed. If you can't tell from the pictures he loved the switch...

Happy Father's Day

This weekend we celebrated Father's Day for Ryan doing a few of him favorite things. We woke on Saturday and went for a run, and then we went to Saint Arnold Brewery & Karbach Brewery. The kids had a blast, and so did Ryan! It was so much fun showing Ryan how much we love him!!!

Trip to Arkansas

This past week we packed up and headed to Arkansas. We went to honor Ryan's Uncle Tom that had past away. It was very sad to say goodbye, but it was great as always to spend time with Family. This was also the first VERY long road trip to take the kids on. We were glad that we left in the afternoon so that the kids ended up sleeping most of the way. The person that had the hardest time with the road trip was Ryan. He hated siting in one spot for almost 8 hours. We decided the break up the drive back by staying at the lake house for the night on the way home.

Slow Down

This week we were finally able to slow down a little to have a weekend in town. We were able to spend lots of time with the babies and we even were able to go on a date. There is no replacement for a little rest and relaxation!

Avery's Birthday Party

Since Avery's birthday was the same weekend that Ryan was in a wedding we had to wait a little bit to have his birthday party. So this weekend we finally had some of Ryan's family over to Celebrate Avery.

We had Ryan's mom, dad, sister, aunt and cousins all over to the house for presents and cake. Nonni did a great job getting two cakes and ice cream. The kids all had a blast, and Avery Loves all of his presents.
