Memorial Day full of Visitors!!!

Since Avery arrived we have been blessed to have all kinds of visitors. Below you can see pictures of Avery with some of the people that came to meet him.

Here is Avery with my cousin Katie White. She was so sweet to bring us dinner too! Thanks Kate!

This is Avery and Reece with their cousins Joey, Aidan and family.

This our friend Lauren White.

Here is Avery with my mentor from Dallas Brenda Baily-Holmes and great friend Liz Pace.

This is one of my closest friends Joy Cox.

This is Avery with my best friend Kat Brinson, and her daughter Hailey.

Here is my dad napping with his very first grandson!

This is Avery and his Aunt JJ.

Here we have Avery snuggling with his BiBi.

Reece and daddy were able to play in the pool at Papa and BiBi's new lake house.

Here I am snuggling with both of my babies after Reece was finished swimming with daddy!

One of the last things that we did over Memorial Day weekend was drive to Oklahoma to see Ryan's grandmother Colleen Cain aka Mammaw! We had a lot of fun hanging out with her. She was just as in love with Avery as we are.

He's Here!!!

Well finally Avery Ryan Cain has arrived.  He came into the world on May 9th, 2013 at 7:06pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. He was 20 and 3/4 inches. His journey took most of the afternoon, and ended with a broken right clavicle, but other than that that he was completely healthy.

The Last Days of 3

Well the last few days before Avery arrived were filled with all kinds of fun activities to help pass the time quick, and to enjoy our fire pistol Reece before little brother Avery joined "The Cain Crew!"

One fun thing we did was hang out with my mother Janice aka "Mimi." She flew into town a couple of days early to see us all. Reece had so much fun playing with Mimi and her cousins Ella and Scarlett.

Then the first day that we thought I was going to deliver we received a disappointing phone call letting us know that the hospital did not have room, and my delivery induction would have to wait just one more day... So we made the best of a bad situation and let Reece live it up. She stayed home from daycare and played with mommy, daddy and Mimi all day long.

Here you can see her playing in her pool. She had a ball!!!

Hey, Jack!

Well, let me tell you.  Being a parent of now 2 children is no joke.  I guess I had this idea that it was going to be a walk in the park, but, I was mistaken.  Now, don't get me wrong.  I love and adore these kiddos.

Reece can be a wonderful joy, and then she can be a terror.

Avery can be the sweetest little boy, and then when he won't sleep...  But, I do love my children.  So, you may wonder what gets us through the days and nights of parenthood?  Well, right now it is a very HILARIOUS show called Duck Dynasty.  These guys are ridiculous and we love every quirky moment.  It helps us wind down and relax at the end of the day.
