Movin' on Up

Well the Cain Crew kids are Movin' on Up in more ways that one... For starters Reece has moved up to the 2 year olds classroom even though her birthday isn't until Friday. We have really loved her new teacher at the new daycare we moved her to right before Avery was born. I was a little worried that she wouldn't want to get a new teacher, but she adjusted just fine! 

Here is Reece working on her "Laptop" like mommy and daddy. 

Our "Little" man is trying to move on up to anywhere possible. He is somewhat crawling. He might be moving an inch at a time, but he is movin. 

I tell ya what... They don't stay little very long. I really have to make sure to soak up every second with these two cuties!  

Walkin Time

For that past few days Ryan and I have been taking the kids for a walk after dinner. I can not believe how big my little baby is. I am extremely upset about how fast this is going! I just want to stop time so that I don't loose my baby!!!

Splash Day

At Reece's day care they have a "splash day" every Tuesday during the summer. On those days the kids get to get all dressed up in their bathing suits and play in the swimming pool and sprinkler. I know this will shock most of you, but Reece is the life of the party on Splash Day. She is the only kid that will get in the pool, and then get out, and she also likes to hold the sprinkler and chase the others kids that are outside of the pool. I was so excited that I got to finally go to the last Splash Day of the summer!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!

Mommy's work Parties

One of the perks of being the manager of an apartment complex is that sometimes we have really fun resident parties. This summer we have had two parties that Reece really enjoyed!

 

 

The first party was a Carnival. We had a train come and all of the kids were able to ride all around the complex parking lot.

 

We also has a hotdog machine, cotton candy machine, pop corn popper & snow cone machine. Reece really loved her first taste of cotton candy!

 

The other party was Fire Safety Day. The Houston Fire Department came, and let the kids climb all over their Fire Truck.

 

 

Reece really liked getting inside the truck and looking at all of the tools.

 

I think her favorite part was kicking her feet up after each party and eating some chocolate from mommy's desk!

Avery 2 Months old

I have meant to finish this posting a few days ago. Avery is growing so fast! We took him to the doctor for his checkup. He is around the ninetieth percentile for hight and high sixtieth for weight. I think he will be higher if he keeps growing at this rate. 

No matter what we are so excited to have this little man in our family!!! 

Avery 3 Months Old

 

 

Our chunky Monkey is now 3 Months old! It is very hard to believe. Avery is growing at a very rapid pace. He is so strong that he is already able to control his core body and sit up when he is propped up. The ladies that take care of him at daycare tell us all the time how incredibly sweet and easy he is. Avery is great for mommy and daddy too! He had been sleeping anywhere from 9 to 11 hours at night since he was 2 months old. God has truly sent us a "Little Blessing!!!"

 

 Life has been going 90 miles an hour ever since I have gone back to work. We have settled into a routine, and we are getting used to be a family of four with two working parents.
